We’ve moved Happy What’re You Reading Wednesday to Friday. This is the first Friday. I was all excited thinking of all the books I was going to tell you about but… I’m empty. Stumped. Frazzled. Packing for a weekend conference in New Jersey. Well, I’m in New Jersey to check on my college kid, but while I’m there… I can’t resist a chance to catch up with all my friends, so we’re staying at the conference hotel.
Our own Dee Davis is up for a Golden Leaf award! Maybe new whiner Terri Brisbin is, too, I don’t know. But JULIA LONDON is flying in for the event (be still our hearts). And there’s a big booksigning on Saturday:
New Jersey Romance Writers is happy to once again be hosting a Literacy Book Fair and Author Signing at the conclusion of our Put Your Heart in a Book Conference. Open to the Public, the Book Fair will take place Saturday, October 13, 4:00-5:30 pm.
A portion of all proceeds from the Book Fair will be donated to Literacy Volunteers of America, New Jersey.
In addition to conference speakers, published authors who attend the conference are eligible to participate. Typically 50-70 authors sign during this event.

It was so great to see my peeeeeeps! We also had a drive-by sighting of Kathleen O’Reilly. She drove down Friday night to hang with us.
I’ve never been to the New Jersey conference–am adding it to my Bucket List. Hope you all have a great time. Right now I’m not reading anything–too busy writing. Well, that’s not completely true–I’ve been leafing through the latest issue of People magazine. Is that considered reading?
It’s a great conference, Jacquie. I still have to get to a Moonlight and Magnolias conference, too. Yes, People counts.
SHERRI ERWIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! (oh, am I supposed to wait to make the fuss when I get to the conference?)
See, I would make a fuss on all ya’ll ladies.
OH MY GAWD IT’S DEEE!!! CAN I HAVE YOUR AUTOGRAPH???
LOOK OVER THERE! IT’S SHERRI!! SIGN MY BOOBS SHERRI!
She did say she would not mind the yelling. lol
Oh you two! Ti, hahaha. Of course I will.
I wish I could make and it and if I was to see you I would make the BIGGEST fuss to get that autograph!!!!!
As for reading, I just finished Anne O’Brien’s The King’s Concubine. I think then I am heading to Suetonius ‘Twelve Caesar’s’. Which is more historical fact not fiction. Plus I don’t know if you saw my FB today but they found the exact location that Caesar was killed!
I knew I could count on you, Ti!
And wow on Caesar. That’s so cool.
