I wear my hair short. My hair is very fine with a some natural curl to it. But I am not real good with wielding all the tools needed to keep it up… I wash it, put some product on it to give it lots of body and usually finger dry it and then once it is dry, I will use the curling iron and then put some product on it to hold it in place… But I have to go to something special, thank god I have a good hairstyalist…
I miss my longer hair. I am one of those unfortunate people who has very fast growing hair that prefers to be curly frizzy. If I go to bed with a wet head I wake up looking like Shirley Temple. I like my hair purpley wine coloured too. Short hair on me…well just might as well call me FiFi the french poodle. I have tried straightening it but as soon as humidity hits it its frizz once more.
My hair started with grey when I was 18. I have a skunk stripe up the middle of my head right now. And at the temples. I want to go hot pink and dark purple but to bleach my hair out that much will dry it out.
My daughter is saving her hair up to donate to the Prince’s Trust. I used to donate my hair to Locks of Love until I saw a documentary on how very little wigs they make, they sell most of the hair, and they charge outrages amounts for the wigs. If I was stateside I would donate to Pantene’s Beautiful Lengths instead.
I’m loving the idea of the skunk stripe. We can’t call you FiFi because I’m used to Ti. Very lovely thing for your daughter to do, and we already know she’s awesome like her mom.
Hmm like the cut but not the peroxide. And definitely not the lipstick. But I’m not one to talk–my hair has looked pretty much exactly the same since I managed to grow out a very bad perm in Grad school. Sometimes with bangs, sometimes without–and that’s about it. (oh and sadly it’s gotten a little darker as I’ve gotten older.)
Yeah, I do like her natural color better on her, but this is a cute change I think. I just got home from the salon, and my husband and dad didn’t see much change. I guess I’m in a style rut. But my hairdresser thought I had been seeing someone else for highlights (which she loved) and I had to break it to her that it’s all natural. I’m going blonder instead of gray. No complaints about that! Saving me a fortune in dye jobs.
I actually love Miley’s new hair on her. I think she has the face for it and she might as well experiment a little, at her age. The red lipstick on the other hand…
