Actually I think the books are completely different from the show. In the books I always thought Elena was more self involved than on the show. Damon also seems more evil to me in the books than on the show. The Damon that was in the beginning of TVD is more like the Damon in the book-at least to me.

I liked Spike before he got his soul. Though I’m a big fan of Buffy and Angel. Those two were my favorite. I recently just watched Buffy from the beginning and I couldn’t get over how much I liked the two of them together still. Spike was fun, but when he was evil.

I LOVE the Vampire Diaries. I was actually a big fan of the books and when the show came out I definitely had to watch it. I am a big fan of Damon and I would love to see some more of him next season. I too am not the biggest fan of Klaus. I think he’s a cutie but I am not really digging the character. I don’t understand why he wants Stefan as his wingman so badly. I hope that Elijah comes back next season. I really liked him and what he brought to the show. I also would like to see more Tyler and Bonnie screentime. I really feel the connection between the two of them.

I agree with that, Elena was a lot spunkier than Bella. Out of the three characters on VD, I think I liked her best.

I liked Angel before Spike. After the Spike/Buffy thing started, I was pretty much over the Angel thing And when they brought him back in Season 7, it felt soooooooo awkward!
