Emma looks awesome!!! Paris does look preggers. Grace looks like Grace. And Madonna looks … well, maybe she could only find one sock in the drawer that morning??
Maybe she was going for that classic director look and one of her pantlegs rolled down. I don’t know. But at least she is covered up, so I shouldn’t complain.

I love Emma’s hair. But having spent the first ten years of my life with a pixie cut, there is no way I’d ever cut mine off again. And Emma’s look is for someone with a tiny face and tiny body — I’ve got neither

There wasn’t one celeb look there that I’d be caught dead in–except Emma’s hair, which is adorable. I don’t get Gaga–she has talent, but it seems it’s all about flash and outrageous clothes and behavior, and that doesn’t do anything for me.
I had my hair like Emma’s when I was 5 and I hated it. But back then, I could pull it off. Now, not so much. It’s so great on her! And it must be so refreshing for summer and easy for college. Rumor says she did it because she wants to be cast as Lisbeth Salander in the films of Stieg Larsson’s books.

Sherri, I saw a magazine the other day with Mary Kate Olsen on the cover and the caption “I wouldn’t wish my childhood on anyone.’ Joooooo-seeeey. I was with Hubot, tho, and I didn’t want him to think that was the kind of thing I’d be reading in his absence. Like I have for the last ten years. But I will be picking one up in the airport this morning.
I almost posted a pic of MK. She looks pretty and serene on that cover, and in pictures lately. I think maybe she’s coming to peace with herself. But poor kids, with a childhood they can’t remember fondly. She said she wouldn’t trade it, and who would? It’s hers and what made her who she is. But I wouldn’t wish that on anyone either. I have great childhood memories. Tell us any juicy deets you pick up.

I can’t choose a worst when they were all so, so bad. But the MJ with the kid on his lap, yeah, maybe that one was worst. How could you go through life with that on your arm? EWW!
I saw Emma’s haircut in the post, and I thought it was adorable. It really makes her eyes pop (in a good way). There are women who have that perfect facial structure who can sport this look, and I think she’s one (Wynonna Ryder, Natalie Portman, Audrey Hepburn as well).
Rihanna’s hair cracks me up. I don’t know why, but sometimes Rihanna makes me think of the girl on the outside, face pressed against the glass, watching all the other cool kids play. I think she tries a little too hard.
Paris Hilton? Paris Hilton? Dear God, aren’t we done with her yet? There are very few celebs that are fingernails on the chalkboard to me, but she is one of them.
I thought we were done with Paris, too, but suddenly she’s popping up again. Of course, she has to do things like mimic Marilyn and puff her tummy out, otherwise, who cares? Rihanna definitely tries too hard. Lady Gaga started wearing outrageous things and weird hair then suddenly Rihanna was trying it, too.
I think Emma looks more mature with the shorter hair. She is my son’s age. They would make a super cute couple. (He’s not interested, sigh).
Was it Pink or Lady G that had the rhinestoned landing strip on her body stocking at the Grammy Award Show? That was my outfit of the century in an infamous –eewwww kind of way.
Christina Aguilera had the light-up heart on her crotch. That pretty much hit the eww factor for me. Pink wore the nude/glitter unitard, so I’m guessing maybe it was her, though I would normally hand it to Lady G.
Nope it was Christina Aguilera I was thinking of. Clearly combined it with the Pink dangling from the ceiling unitard look. They’re all about the clothes or lack thereof these days.
