Sewing books! :) To celebrate the end of the winter term, I spent the whole day at the sewing machine today and put together a cute little denim bag with sunny, yellow lining. I even managed to attach the handles correctly! (Yay me!)

Novel-wise, I'm reading Kerry Greenwood's "Ruddy Gore", and as for TV shows, I got Simon Schama's "A History of Britain" this week (it's a tad boring, though, not quite as much as fun as David Dimbleby's "How We Built Britain" or Alan Titchmarsh's "The British Isles - A Natural History"). Still waiting for the second series of "Life" to arrive in my mailbox.

Oh no! You lost the last hour of Emma! How awful, when you're following something and lose the end. I do need DVR.

You should read it! It was a great read. But you should also know that the movie veers somewhat from the book. In some ways, I preferred the book. In others, the movie.

Dee, I saw one Castle episode and really liked it, but haven't caught it since. I'm planning to buy the 1st season when it comes out on DVD and do a Castle marathon. Has anyone seen Royal Pains? Being from NY I really liked it since it takes place in the Hamptons. I'm waiting for the 1st season to come out on DVD to catch the few episodes I missed.

Yes, Julia! I felt really bad for Gretchen that night. She's my favorite OC housewife. I WISH I could quit them--maybe this season will push me over the edge, but I somehow doubt it.

I know we just talked about we were reading, but this one made me laugh (plus not many classic Kath posts have Saturday questions). She wrote it the very week or so after she was encouraging me to write Jane Slayre, and I was just kind of perplexed by it. One of those "Huh" moments. But I had also recently skewered P and P and Zombies, so... I knew the spirit behind it. And then jumped on board with the mash-up crowd. And by the way, Alice in Zombieland sounds promising.

I'm watching-- The Olympics! Yes! Just watched some speedskating. Really sad about the Luge death. Poor guy. And Survivor just kicked off a new season. Plus, I have been falling behind on my RITA reading.

Reading early Julia Quinn books. And watching too much TV :) Chuck, 24, House, Castle, The Good Wife, Idol, Survivor Heroes and Villains and Modern Family -- which absolutely has me snorting every week. Oh and Brothers and Sisters. See...too much TV. Thank goodnes for the DVR. (Which broke by the way and I lost the last hour of the new Emma.)
